New years resolutions 2013

Ok so I just looked at last years resolutions and the only thing I was kinda ok at was family night and that hasnt been great the last few months because I have been so busy. I am so not happy that I didnt manage to a very good job. I will just have to keep this printed off and with me all of the time so i dont forget. The year went by really fast is all I have to say. I basically would like to keep the same resolutions and start my family night again but instead of it always being movie night I think i will ask the kids what they want or each week chose a kid and let them decide what it will be. Only Abe will probably want to just eat chocolate and pizza the whole night. I hope I do better this year. Healthy is the thing. I checked out a book called MOM ENERGY so i am hoping they have good tips.

WALMART!!!!!!

Why is it that the minute kids go into walmart things go crazy!!!! I can get 1/2 way through and still be sane but then we all lose it and by check out I am a mess and the there is the CANDY!!!!!! Why can they not put the candy someplace else. Lord help us all.

What to do about shoes?? Help!!

Why is it so hard to keep kids shoes in one place? My kids usually leave their shoes on the floor
somewhere around the door coming in from the garage. Drives me nuts! But when I do stay on top of them they at least make it to the closet by the door. I have these plastic put together shelves with a metal bar. I hate them. The shoes fall off and the shelves fall apart all the time. I was looking on pintrest and found some great ideas. This was my FAV. I have 4 kids, so this would be great. I need to take a trip to the goodwill and make this happen! Wish me luck.

Ok this is BIG sis and here are my resolutions

Ok I know I know it is already the 8th and I have not started because um well hmmmmmmmm well just because time flies and I hadnt seen my sisters so now its on.
Ok here we go and I really really want to do this so I think I need to post it EVERYWHERE IN THE HOUSE.
- Read to my girls at least 2 times a week
-Sit down to play with my boys for at least 20-30 minutes 5 times a week.
- Lose 30 pounds
-Read my bible daily and pray more.
-keep my NEW organizer with me and check it daily before the day starts.
-Take my vitamins DAILY
- Stay Focused
-Take better care of myself so I can take care of my kids.
- Take more pictures and video of kids
-Have on family night a week that is special.

Ok there are a million things I want to do and want to change but this is a great start and things I really want to do. I really need the stay focused to be # one.
To all of you mamas dont be so hard on yourselves. We all do the best we can and as long as we are trying that is what matters most.

2012!

Happy New Year! Let's make this a awesome year. I have a list of things I would like to accomplish this year. I don't think of them so much as resolutions but more like trying new things and actually doing things I have been doing and sticking to them. I have a list started and will print it and put it on my fridge and put it on cell phone for a reminder.
BRING ON 2012:
-walk with the family 3 times a week
-cut back on sugar
-build my tanning business
-workout 5 days a week
-run 5 miles
-organize craft cabinet
-do at least one craft a week
-help out in Mia's class at least twice a month
-take more pictures
-video the kids more
-date night at least once a month (even if its just watching a movie alone on the couch after the kids are in bed)
I would say this is a good start. I will be adding more I'm sure. It's Monday and I'm off to a good start. Have a great Monday! Let's do this!

High School Football is Over

I can't believe our Football season is over. It was a good season for the Wildcats this year. They made it to the first round of the playoffs. It was exciting. I have come to love football. Now that Robert plays high school football it's even more exciting. We are now ready for the Holidays. Bring on Christmas.

First day of School -Kindergarten

Hello there, yep my little Mia stated school a few weeks ago. She loves it. Her teacher is wonderful and she has made some great friends.

I hope this year is great. I love to see her grow. She has only been in school for a short period of time and she is so independent. Its going to be a awesome year. Go Pioneers!!

So much to blog about

It's been awhile since I have posted anything. It has been so busy around my house. I had my baby girl on March 23rd. She is now 2 months old. Her name is Bella Victoria. It's so weird to look at her, she is a total blend of both of my girls. I wanted a large family and I got it. I can't belive we have 4 kids. It's a lot of work, but it's a lot of fun also. Its great to see these little people that we created and watch what kind of people they will be. I will post pictures soon. Have a good Monday.

My Nursery Project

I must be nesting. I have so much I want to get done before baby comes. Cleaning, decorating, organizing, and washing. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Emotionally these last few months have been pretty crazy and hard. But as it gets closer to delivering (3 weeks) I am getting ready. Here is a project that I was working on today: I used an old picture frame I had.
Next I picked some scrapbook paper that will match her nursery.
I then searched for a font on microsoft word that I liked for her name.

I put the paper down in a pattern, glued the letters down and then added some gems I had.


I love the way it turned out. It is going to look great in her room. And yep thats her name Bella. We both agreed on that name and love it. I'm sure I will have a few more things to post before the big day!
